Welcome to Social Studies through the Arts 2025/26

In this unique class students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will enjoy a curriculum based around Social Studies learning, and enhanced with visual and theatrical art projects and skills.  Each class meets with me twice a week, and each lesson incorporates a fun activity designed to teach new art based skills, connected directly to the lesson from our social studies curriculum.  Check in to our google classroom for lessons, activities, photos and more!
Homework Policy
 
Homework is assigned on an as needed basis.  Homework is posted in the Google Classroom, and also sent home via. Class Dojo.  Teachers also post homework in their own classrooms.  Homework ranges from internet based research to worksheets  and completing art projects.  
Why join Class Dojo?
 
Class Dojo is our schools primary communication resource.  Homework is posted, teacher discussions with parents are held, and general information is given.  It is a wonderful resource for you and your children.  To sign up, download the Class Dojo app via your smart device and follow the instructions.  To join my class, simple join up!  If you have an issue signing up, cntact our parent coordinator Stefania Marziano for assistance.
